The Wallowa County Commissioners will host discussion about moving the state border on Wednesday morning, February 25th at 9:00 at the courthouse.

Because these meetings are held during the workday, working people have a tough time attending, but we encourage you to make the effort.  Each person is normally given 3 minutes to address the group.

Some who oppose moving the border are proposing a voter petition to stop the meeting requirement.  While we don't know the outcome of that, dialogue between people who disagree is healthy, and we recommend that you come and express your opinion.
